The company plans on fortifying its organizational competence for carbon accounting thereby further reducing carbon emissions.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Committed to transitioning to 100% renewable electricity by 2050, Samsung SDI has been ramping up its efforts to decarbonize its business by carrying out key tasks such as the deployment of high-efficiency equipment and the recycling of waste energy.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">\u201cHaving our products\u2019 carbon footprint certified is the acknowledgement of our product\u2019s eco-friendliness and our vigorous efforts to reduce carbon emissions,\u201d said Samsung SDI President and CEO Yoon-ho Choi and highlighted, \u201cWe will make the world greener and sustainable through our innovative technology.\u201d<\/p><p class=\"p1\">On the same day, Samsung SDI released its twentieth Sustainability Report detailing the company\u2019s sustainability performances and achievements in 2022.
